Field Study 3 - Technology in the Learning Environment
I. COURSE TITLE: Field Study 3 – Technology in the Learning Environment
II. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to provide students with practical learning experiences in technology in the learning environment. It specifically focuses on the design, utilization and assessment of ICT materials in the basic education. The prerequisite courses are educational Technology 1 and 2.
III.TIME DURATION 17 Hrs
IV. CREDIT UNIT 1 Unit
V. PLACEMENT BSED III/BEED III
VI. COURSE OBJECTIVES
A. General – Upon completion of the course, the students are expected to have a deep and principled understanding of the use of technologies in the teaching-learning process. Likewise, the students are expected to identify, assess and design/improve instructional materials.
B. Specific
1. Identify and classify learning resources
2. Appraise/Assess instructional materials, displays and ICT –based/enriched IM and their utilization
3. Prepare ICT-based/enriched IM
4. Determine appropriateness of IM
